Introduction
Péladeau Immobilier Inc. (hereinafter “the AGENCY”) attaches paramount importance to the protection of personal information. This policy explains how the AGENCY collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects your personal information in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (CQLR, c. P-39.1), as amended by Bill 25.
Bryan Péladeau-Lefebvre, Owner and Director, acts as the person responsible for the protection of personal information.

- residential and commercial real estate brokerage services,

- using standardized forms (e.g., OACIQ forms),
- during correspondence (phone calls, emails, meetings),
- through supporting documents related to a transaction.
Use and communication
Personal information is used exclusively:
- for the completion of a real estate transaction,
- for the fulfillment of legal obligations (e.g., OACIQ, FINTRAC, FARCIQ),
- for managing customer, supplier, or employee files.
They may be disclosed to third parties (e.g., notaries, financial institutions, insurers, IT service providers) only when necessary and in accordance with contractual agreements guaranteeing their protection.
Before transferring any information outside Quebec, the AGENCY assesses the level of protection offered by the country or provider concerned and ensures that adequate safeguards are in place.
Retention and destruction
The AGENCY retains personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the intended purposes or to comply with legal and regulatory requirements (including a minimum of 6 years for brokerage files). Once these purposes have been fulfilled, the information is securely destroyed or anonymized.
Safety measures
To ensure data confidentiality and integrity, the AGENCY applies, in particular:
- Access control: access restricted to authorized personnel
- Ongoing training on information protection
- Firewall, antivirus, and regular updates
- Secure backups and encrypted archiving procedures
- Incident response plan in the event of a breach of confidentiality

The AGENCY’s website uses:
- cookies to improve the user experience;
- Google Analytics and tracking pixels to analyze browsing and optimize content.
This data is non-personal in nature and does not directly identify an individual.
